The Forum: Community Connections Event

A team from SVL are delighted to be participating in the Forum National Conference on Tuesday, 9th November in Crewe Hall.

As long-standing supporters of Forum Conferences, we are absolutely certain of the value they add to the Planning Community and the outstanding networking opportunities they bring.

This is the first face-to-face national event for over 2 years and that, in itself, feels very exciting.

The agenda is very much based around open collaboration groups, with tables hosted by senior industry practitioners, each bringing specialist experience in a range of topics or industries. This style of conference allows delegates to interact in a way that more traditional events, loaded with speaker-after-speaker, do not.

There is one keynote speaker, as you would expect, who is inspirational author and coach Michael Finnigan, the founder of i2i , who has been transforming businesses, sports teams and individuals, and helping thousands of people achieve their goals since 1992. We are very excited to hear Michael divulge the science behind our behaviours and how his experience and the techniques used in ‘winning’ with elite sportspeople and teams, can be easily translated into ‘winning’ in the business world.

There are two distinct collaboration groups during the day, that will form the basis of discussions.

The morning session will focus on the last 18 months and reflect upon the shared experiences of participants. In the afternoon, groups will consider the future and how customers, colleagues and organisations will continue to change and evolve in 2022 and beyond.

The SVL “Dream Team” of myself, Richard Abdy and Debbie Bicker will be in attendance and we’d be delighted to see you at the event. We will also have a stand in the EXPO area, with a chance to have a chat, play some vintage video games and win some Scottish-themed goodies.

We genuinely love this event as it is very different from the norm. It allows a level of participation you rarely see in the traditional conference formats and you will defintely make a range of new and very valuable contacts on the day.

We look forward to seeing you.
