Formed in 1967, SVL has been in the “Call Recording” business as long as there has been a call recording business.

SVL had been a long-time partner of Racal Recorders, latterly Thales Contact Solutions when, in 2002, Thales CS was acquired by NICE Systems.

SVL became a NICE reseller, then rapidly progressed to Platinum Partner status over the next couple of years. This was a springboard for SVL to expand beyond its native Scottish market to begin to cover all the UK and Ireland and we have subsequently never really looked back.

In 2002 NICE was still predominantly a Call Recording manufacturer supplying on-premise recording solutions with a client server quality management application.

Over the next 17 years NICE has grown significantly, both organically and by acquisition, including the purchase of brand names such as InContact; Brand Embassy; Nexidia; Satmetrix; Mattersight; Actimize, Workflex; Merced; IEX, Cybertech and Dictaphone.

SVL have grown in stature and capability alongside NICE, retaining the role of “Portfolio Partner“, offering a customer-centric, consultative, account management driven approach to our customers.
