We’re proud to share that SVL is once again sponsoring the North East Contact Centre Awards (NECCA), this year supporting the Customer Service Team category.
For more than two decades, the NECCAs have celebrated the individuals, teams and organisations making a difference across the North East’s contact centre industry.
With many of our clients based in the North East, we’ve had the chance to get to know some brilliant people working across its contact centres. Supporting the NECCAs is our way of recognising the work they do and playing our part in an industry community we really value.
Celebrating the North East contact centre community
The NECCAs give people across the region a chance to come together and recognise the work happening inside North East contact centres every day.
Through our own work, we’ve seen just how much enthusiasm and ambition there is within teams across the region. We’ve worked alongside people introducing new technology, finding better ways to support their colleagues and looking for ways to improve the experience they give their customers.
Those experiences are a good reminder that successful transformation is never just about technology. It’s about the people who use it, the ideas they bring and their willingness to keep learning and improving together.
And as the industry continues to change, having opportunities to learn from others and recognise the people driving that progress feels more valuable than ever.
Why we’re sponsoring the Customer Service Team award
This year, we’re especially proud to sponsor the Customer Service Team category.
Customer service teams are the frontline of an organisation. They’re the people customers turn to for help, reassurance and support, and those interactions can make a huge difference to how someone feels about an organisation.
But great customer service is rarely the work of one person alone. It comes from teams sharing knowledge, supporting one another and working towards the same goal. It’s that collective effort that creates consistently great experiences for customers.
We’re fortunate to see plenty of that teamwork through the contact centres we work with. Technology can make people’s jobs easier, but ultimately it’s the teams themselves who make the difference.
We’re looking forward to hearing the stories behind this year’s nominees and celebrating the teams doing brilliant work for their customers across the North East.
Supporting the North East community
Our commitment to the North East goes beyond the NECCAs.
On Thursday 15 October, we’ll be at St James’ Park in Newcastle for our own event, bringing people from across the contact centre industry together to share ideas, talk about the future of customer and employee experience and, importantly, spend some time with each other.
We always value the chance to get people in the same room. There’s a lot to be gained from swapping experiences and hearing from others working through many of the same opportunities and challenges.
If that sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love for you to join us.
Looking forward to NECCA 2026
The North East Contact Centre Awards 2026 take place on Thursday 12 November at The Fed, Gateshead, bringing the region together to celebrate another year of achievement.
Good luck to everyone taking part in this year’s awards. We look forward to celebrating the North East contact centre community with you in November!
